Open Question: Can I leave and go home from the airport during my 1 stop flight?

First of all, I live in Middletown, Ohio (right smack center of Dayton & Cincinnati). Well I'm in San Diego right now and I'm looking at flights and found a really cheap one. It's from San Diego > Cincinnati > Columbus. It's like only $140. Now Columbus is 2 hours away from Middletown, can I just leave Cincinnati Airport, once I get there? Are there any fees chrged onto my card? And what about baggages? I'm checking in at least 2 baggages. How will I get them if you don't see your "checked in" luggages on connecting flights. I need help please! Thank You! I just want to leave Cincinnati Airport and go home since it's closer to where I live you know.
